FAÇADE PROPOSAL FOR DIAGONAL 0 TOWER BUILDING

Diagonal 0 Tower is the last building on the Diagonal avenue in Barcelona at its end with the sea, crossing the Rambla Prim and Taulat street. It shares corner with the Hotel Princess, Telefonica Tower, International Convention Center of Barcelona and the Forum Building.

The building consists of a complex volumes. In the corner next to the Diagonal is located the volume of the tower, with 24 floors in height with a setback on the ground 14. Behind her, in line with Rambla Prim, lies a body under 9 floors.

The purpose of the assignment is to propose a new facade on one side of the structure already built, and partly to a change of type of housing. The proposal seeks, even assuming the housing of medium grain surface, giving the whole a general and abstract unit volume.
